I started rowing in college in 1997 at SUNY Geneseo, after a summer rowing on pulling boats on an Outward Bound course. I've rowed for New York Athletic Club, Community Rowing in Boston, and Riverside Boat Club. For a couple years, I rowed long boats for Lake Champlain Maritime Museum, which is pictured here.
In 1998, I paddled 250-miles in Prince William Sound, Alaska as part of a NOLS course/expedition for 28-days. This experience shaped my early career in experiential education.
